  In 1960 William "Bill" Burdan graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He, and his family, settled into the Cedar Lake community in the late 70's where he founded Burdan Funeral Home. Since then, the Burdan name has been a standard fixture in the community. Bill is a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Marion Council 3840. Prior to graduating from Worsham, Bill served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Dalgren.

  Scott Burdan is a 2006 graduate of Ivy Tech School of Mortuary Science, and a 2002 graduate of Purdue University. He and his family reside in Cedar Lake where Scott is a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Marion Council 3840, and has assisted coaching Jr. Wildcats Football and Cal Ripken Little League. While at Ivy Tech, Scott was the recipient of the following Scholastic Achievement Awards: Funeral Management, Mortuary Law, Restorative Art, and Embalming.

  Grethen Burdan is a highly involved contributor at both the funeral home and within the Cedar Lake community. She is a tenured teacher at Lincoln Elementary School, mother of three boys, and fulfills administrative and mangement duties at Burdan Funeral Home.  
 
  Kenneth J. Puent   Kenneth J Puent  
  Funeral Director  
  Kenneth "Ken" Puent is a 2015 graduate of Ivy Tech School of Mortuary Science. He is also a graduate of Anderson University and United Theological Seminary. In addtion to his role as a Funeral Director, Ken is presently Pastor at Cedar Lake United Methodist Church.

  Donald "Sammy" Jaskolski resides in Cedar Lake, and has over 10 years experience as a Funeral Assistant.
